mettes ma mode

i made this game for bigmode jam 2023. i would link to it but its probs already up in the corner if you want to go check it out.

the theme was "mode", which i thought was kinda difficult, so i objectified it into a french fashion game. this stunning instance of mental logic is summarised by the below image:

so its a silly platformer with 6 objectives to complete across this french persons body; each of his arms and legs, plus his shirt and his hat.

i spent a lot of time making this 20 minute game as breezy and tight and polished and pretty as i could. give it a go. have fun. be groovy.

also the game isnt really optimised very well (im sorry)- the tutorial runs ok in a browser but for the rest of the game it might be worth downloading it. but i dont know your computer. it might run fine. if you want to play it in a browser there is deltatime integration (which for the non deltatime-initiated means that if the game gets slower, everything speeds up to compensate) so its still pretty playable. do what you want.

music gleefully stolen from incompetech.com. the song i used was "space jazz" which is a silly name but i think the song fits the game pretty well.
